She completed a four-year degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Victoria University, including a clinical internship at Zhejiang Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Hangzhou, China. During this time, she developed a deep appreciation for traditional practices and immersed herself in tai chi, later training and teaching at the Golden Lion Academy for over a decade. In 2014, she placed third in her division at the World Tai Chi Games in Chengdu, China.
Throughout her career, Michelle has worked in private practice as well as alongside chiropractors and osteopaths, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, women’s health, and stress-related conditions. She has also contributed to community health through her work with clients experiencing severe anxiety and addiction, providing ongoing support through group acupuncture programs.
Her work has continued to evolve. Alongside acupuncture, Michelle now integrates coaching focused on emotional healing, inner child work, and nervous system regulation. She draws on both ancient wisdom and modern science to help clients move beyond patterns of stress, overwhelm, and self-doubt—guiding them toward greater clarity, resilience, and alignment.
Michelle has also undertaken further training in longevity and lifestyle medicine, deepening her understanding of health from a Western scientific perspective. She is currently continuing her studies in Classical acupuncture, with a focus on constitutional health, emotional wellbeing, and the deeper patterns that shape our lives.
Known for her calm and grounded presence, Michelle creates a space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. Her approach is not just about treating symptoms, but about helping people understand their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and actively participate in their own healing.
